Planting Hope in Tagaytay Highlands

Tagaytay Highlands joined Lifestyle Asia—the premier luxury lifestyle magazine in the Philippines—in its commitment to plant trees for every page of the publication in a tree planting activity together with non-government organization, Pilipinas EcoWarriors last November at The Belle View Drive inside the leisure complex.

Held one sunny Saturday, the Tagaytay Highlands community saw Club members, homeowners, officers and staff join hands with the Lifestyle Asia editorial team, Pilipinas EcoWarriors, and Belle Corporation and Highlands Prime, Inc. representatives, in saving Mother Earth.

Tagaytay Highlands Founder and Belle Corporation Vice Chairman, Willy Ocier warmly welcomed the guests at the tree planting site as they prepare to embark on their mission in extending a helping hand to Mother Nature, while Club President and One Mega Group, Inc. Chairman Jerry Tiu ended the event on a high note with a heartfelt thanks to all the participants who took time out of their busy schedules to give back to the environment.

Also present was Ecowarrior and celebrity athlete Chris Tiu who showed his support to the event and even gave a small talk on how the youth can take advantage of technology and social networking in doing their part in preserving the earth’s precious resources.
